Planning and Development Services seeks a qualified individual to fill an opening in the GIS
Department. This position will focus on building and implementing geospatial solutions for PDS,
Kenton County, the municipalities of Kenton County and partner agencies.
Required Qualifications include: Graduate of a College, University or Community College with a Master’s
Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Sciences, Information Systems, Management
Information Systems, Planning, or a closely related field and at least five years’ related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted. Experience
working with local governments is strongly preferred.
The successful candidate must pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.
